No separate product line needed: all induction options fit into all three Roostr models – Rubix, Allure, and Wave.

Why choose induction?

Within ten years, induction has gone from being an exception to the standard in home kitchens. The same is now happening in outdoor kitchens, and these are the reasons why.

1

Gas-free cooking

No gas bottle, no open fire, no combustion gases. Ideal under canopies, on covered terraces, or in smaller outdoor spaces where gas or charcoal is impractical.

2

Precision in temperature

Precisely determine the desired temperature and maintain it there. No fluctuations, no guesswork. Ideal for controlled cooking: from slow melting to rapid sizzling.

3

Fast and efficient

Induction heats up extremely quickly (often reaching temperature within 30 seconds) and consumes less energy than electric hobs because only the pan is heated, not the surrounding cooking surface.

4

Clean and quiet

No smoke, no odors, no grease splatters on a high grill. The smooth cooking plates wipe clean. Quiet enough to cook next to a table conversation.

5

Safe for children and guests

The plate itself barely gets warm, only the pan does. If you remove the pan, the surface is safe to touch again within seconds. This is an important difference compared to gas or ceramic, especially on busy evenings with children or guests around.

Three Roostr models with induction integration

All three Roostr models support induction, with the differences lying in the finish, color choices, and degree of personalization.

RUBIX

In the Rubix, the induction hob is seamlessly integrated into the Dekton worktop. Suitable for all Indu+ and Pitt Cooking models. No foundation needed, quick delivery, and perfect for those who want a sleek and simple start.

Discover the Rubix

Design your induction outdoor kitchen in 3D

Which brand of induction hob appeals to you? Indu+ Multiflex for classic pans, an Indu+ Wok for Asian cooking, a Teppanyaki plate for open cooking, or Pitt Cooking induction hobs for those who cook like they do indoors? You can see it immediately in the Roostr 3D configurator.

Choose your frame and frame size, select your induction option, and add a worktop, refrigerator, and sink. The configurator shows you how everything will look, including the correct proportions between your hob and the surrounding worktop.

Unsure about the electrical connection? Some options (such as Indu+ Wok and Multiflex) operate on 1 phase / 230V, so a standard outdoor socket is sufficient. Others (such as the Teppanyaki 58cm and Pitt Cooking) require 1–3 phases. We will advise you personally on this.

Frequently asked Questions

Can an induction hob be used in an outdoor kitchen?

Induction is the future of cooking. This modern and sustainable cooking method has been gaining popularity in the kitchen world for years. Induction is not only environmentally friendly, but also practical and safe. This is especially true for the use of induction in an outdoor kitchen. With the induction and teppanyaki hobs from Indu+ this becomes possible. This unique Belgian brand offers high-quality hobs for outdoor use.

What is high heat induction?

High heat on an induction is considered the highest settings. Always keep a close eye on your meat or other ingredients on the induction plate when cooking on the highest setting.

How much power does an induction hob use?

An induction hob in an outdoor kitchen consumes an average of between 1.4 and 2.2 kWh per hour. With an average daily use of 30 minutes, this means a consumption of 0.9 kWh per day.

Can I combine induction with other cooking options?

Certainly. Many Roostr owners combine induction with a kamado (for slow cooking on weekends) or a gas barbecue (for classic grilling). The modular system makes this easy, even for later additions.

How much power does an induction cooktop use?

An induction hob consumes, on average, between 1.4 and 2.2 kWh per hour. With daily use of 30 minutes, this means approximately 0.9 kWh per day – comparable to or more energy-efficient than a traditional electric hob, because only the pan is heated.

Is induction safe for children and guests?

Induction is one of the safest cooking methods. The cooktop itself barely gets hot; only the pan does. If you remove the pan, the surface is safe to touch again within seconds. No open flames, no gas, no flying sparks.

Will my existing cookware work on induction?

Only pans with a magnetic base (stainless steel, cast iron, enameled) work on induction. Aluminum, copper, or glass do not work. Test it simply: does a kitchen magnet stick to the bottom of the pan? Then it works. If in doubt, we offer personal advice.

How much does a Roostr outdoor kitchen with induction cost?

This depends on the chosen Roostr model, the induction option, and any additional modules. A Rubix Duo with Indu+ Multiflex starts from approximately €6,000–€8,000. A complete Allure with Pitt Cooking 3-Burners and a refrigerator often costs between €15,000–€20,000. For a precise quote based on your situation, request a free 3D drawing.
