For this project, the client wanted an outdoor kitchen under the canopy, with the additional option of using the Kamado BBQ elsewhere in the garden. We solved this by placing the Kamado on wheels and bringing it to the same height as the rest of the kitchen, so that the whole still looks like one cohesive outdoor kitchen.

The Rubix outdoor kitchen in this project is generously designed and smartly laid out. With a ceramic barbecue from Monolith in a mobile frame so that you can cook both indoors and outdoors, two refrigerators, a sink with a tap, ample storage space, plenty of workspace, and a separate bar for six people, this is a kitchen where you can easily spend entire evenings. The best part? You can simply roll the kamado outside on sunny days.
Rubix on wheels
The option to cook outdoors anywhere in the garden, including on the deck. The compact Single on wheels doesn't require much space and is everything you need to prepare a delicious dish. The accessories complete this compact Rubix on wheels.

What are the advantages of an outdoor kitchen?
An outdoor kitchen provides all the conveniences of a kitchen, but in the open air, and offers extra work and storage space around the BBQ. An outdoor kitchen also creates a pleasant and atmospheric environment for family and friends, and increases the value of a home.
Which Roostr models are available with wheels?
Only the Rubix. The Allure and Wave are designed as integrated, fixed configurations and are not available on wheels.
On what surfaces can the Rubix drive?
On smooth, solid surfaces such as tiles, pavers, decking (with a smooth finish) and concrete. Not on grass, gravel or large gaps — the wheels will sink or get stuck there.
What is the difference compared to leveling feet?
Castors make your Rubix mobile. Leveling feet provide a stable, level position on uneven surfaces. With Rubix, you choose which option suits your usage.
What is an outdoor kitchen?
An outdoor kitchen is a kitchen that is placed outside the house, usually in the garden or on the terrace, and its purpose is to enjoy the outdoors and outdoor cooking. An outdoor kitchen can be equipped with various kitchen appliances, such as a barbecue, sink and tap, pizza oven, refrigerator and a worktop. A comfortable and practical place to cook and eat outdoors.
Does the Rubix remain stable during use?
Yes. The wheels are equipped with a brake/lock so that the Rubix does not roll away during use. Completely stable while cooking, even with a full kamado in it.
Can I combine all cooking options with wheels?
Yes. Kamado, gas barbecue, teppanyaki, pizza oven, all Rubix cooking options are also available with wheels.
Why does a mobile outdoor kitchen suit me?
Especially if you want to be able to choose: under the canopy when it rains, in the sun when the weather is nice, or out of the wind when the smoke blows the wrong way. Also great for those who like to have the cook stay with the group.
