Not everyone wants to wait twenty minutes for a kamado to reach temperature. Sometimes you just want to quickly grill a steak on a weeknight, or use a wok on high heat during the week. That's exactly what gas is made for: instant heat, full control, no fuss.
Roostr offers two ways to build in your gas barbecue:
Thoughtful gas integration in every size
Two installation methods
Whether you opt for a classic built-in gas barbecue (Rubix Duo Gas) or sleek countertop integration (Pitt Cooking, Fulgor Milano), both are possible and both are thoughtfully executed.
Smart gas bottle storage
In the Rubix Duo Gas, the gas bottle is neatly hidden from view in the cabinet space under the barbecue. With the option of drawers or a flap so you can easily replace it.
For every common brand
Napoleon, Flammkraft, Bull, Santos, Pitt Cooking, Fulgor Milano, OneQ - a built-in solution for all common brands. Other brands? Many options are available upon request.
Outdoors all year round
Stainless steel with a three-layer powder coating as a base. Resistant to frost, rain, UV and temperature fluctuations. No protective covers, no seasonal storage.
Why choose gas?
Gas remains the preferred cooking method for outdoor chefs who want to combine speed and control. Five reasons why people choose a gas barbecue for their outdoor kitchen.

1
Immediately up to temperature
One turn of the knob and you're cooking at full power. No waiting for heating up, no lighting charcoal. Ideal for spontaneous moments - even on weekdays after a day at work.

2
Full control
Adjust the flame exactly as you want it. Sizzling hot grill for a rib-eye, low heat for long stews - all via a simple knob.

3
Low maintenance
Gas barbecues are quick to clean and ready for the next use immediately. No emptying of ashtrays, no cleaning up coals.

4
Suitable for all seasons
Consistent performance, whatever the weather. You can continue cooking even on cold November evenings.

5
Safe and secure
For those with less experience cooking outdoors, gas feels familiar – the same principles as indoor gas stoves. Our built-in solutions are sturdy, tested, and made for safety.
Three Roostr models with gas integration
Which Roostr best suits your needs depends on your preference for the installation method, the desired gas barbecue, and your garden.
Roostr Rubix - Includes the special Duo Gas module
For classic built-in gas barbecues, we have developed our own module within the Rubix: the Rubix Duo Gas. Specifically designed for built-in barbecues from Napoleon, Flammkraft, Bull, Santos, and other brands upon request. With space for the gas cylinder at the bottom, plus the choice between drawers or a flap for access.
Would you prefer a Pitt Cooking, Fulgor Milano, or OneQ module integrated into the countertop? That's also possible with the Rubix.
Roostr Allure - Gas seamlessly in a premium setting
In the Allure, the gas barbecue is usually integrated into the Dekton worktop for a sleek overall appearance. Pitt Cooking, Fulgor Milano, and OneQ fit perfectly here – no visible frames, no loose corners, just the worktop with the burners integrated. Complemented with double-walled stainless steel, 15 colour options, and optional LED lighting.
Roostr Wave - Gas in a gentle form
The Wave combines organic shapes with the same built-in gas options as the Allure. Pitt Cooking gas burners or a Fulgor Milano grill integrated into a worktop that is itself part of a sculptural design. For those who choose their outdoor kitchen as carefully as their kitchen appliances.
“For us, outdoor cooking is more than a meal – it's a moment to connect. That's what drives Roostr.”

Frequently asked Questions
Can a BBQ be left in the rain?
Every BBQ is different, and that is why you should always look carefully at which BBQ you purchase and for which place in your outdoor accommodation. The outdoor kitchens from Roostr in combination with a Kamado BBQ can remain outside all year round. In all weathers. The inside of the BBQ must of course not get wet, with a wet grill you can not easily start.
How hot does a gas barbecue get?
Grill temperature on the rack:
On average a gas barbecue will heat up to between 170-230 °C. Always be careful, always use protective gloves and be alert with children.
Can you BBQ under a canopy?
If you are forced to cook under a canopy, choose a barbecue with the least smoke development, this is the safest option. In most cases this is an electric barbecue.
Especially for this problem we offer our outdoor kitchen with wheels, so that you can move the barbecue part of your outdoor kitchen outside.
How hot does a gas barbecue get?
An average gas barbecue reaches temperatures between 170°C and 230°C on the grill grate. Pizza oven modules can go higher. Always use heat-resistant gloves; we supply them up to 250°C.
Can I cook on a gas stove under a canopy?
Yes, with attention to ventilation. Gas produces combustion gases that must be able to escape. Open sides or good extraction are recommended for intensive use patterns. In the studio, we advise on your specific situation.
Can I combine gas with other cooking options?
Certainly. Many Roostr owners combine a gas barbecue with a kamado (quick grilling + slow cooking), or gas + pizza oven (weekdays + weekend). Roostr's modularity makes this easy to add later.
How safe is a built-in gas barbecue?
Our built-in solutions are robustly designed and tested for ease of use. The gas cylinder is safely stored in a ventilated compartment, the connection is made for long-term outdoor use, and all materials are heat-resistant. Always follow the operating instructions from the manufacturer of your gas appliance.
What does a Roostr outdoor kitchen with gas cost?
A Rubix Duo Gas with integrated barbecue starts from approximately €6,000–€8,000. A complete Allure setup with Pitt Cooking and additional modules often ranges between €15,000–€20,000. For a precise quote based on your situation, request a free 3D drawing.
